Vintage 2000s Metro 7 Sculptural High-Low Denim Skirt — Size 14

This is what happens when mid-2000s denim decides a basic skirt simply will not do.

Cut from 100% cotton denim, this Metro 7 skirt is built around dramatic curved paneling that opens into a full, sculptural silhouette. Contrasting faded denim inserts emphasize the construction, while the asymmetric high-low hem exposes the lighter reverse of the denim along the back for even more movement and dimension.

The fitted waistband and hip give way to a generous sweep through the hem, creating an almost fishtail effect without losing the ease of everyday denim. Finished with classic contrast topstitching, belt loops, button-and-zip closure and intentionally raw hem detailing.

Curator’s Note:
The label isn't the reason this made the cut—the design is. That sweeping paneled construction takes something as ordinary as a denim skirt and makes it architectural. I'd keep everything else almost obnoxiously simple: fitted white tee, oversized black blazer, great belt and a pointed boot. Let the skirt do all the talking.
