Curator's Note
Dejac is a name with a documented place in Paris fashion history: a Dejac trade card is held in the city's historical library collection and dated to approximately 1965. That archival record does not date this particular coat. What draws us to it is the combination of a relaxed, expressive silhouette and the soft hand of a wool-rich blend—French vintage design intended to be worn, not simply admired.
