The Kald jacket from IRO’s Winter 2015 collection is crafted from genuine lamb fur with a wonderfully unruly curly finish in a soft beige-greige neutral. Its cropped, slightly boxy silhouette balances all that texture, while the clean front and oversized patch pockets keep it grounded and wearable.


Originally retailing around $729, Kald became one of IRO’s recognizable statement outerwear styles—and more than a decade later, it still looks remarkably current.


Wear it polished if you want. We prefer it a little undone: vintage R&B tee, oversized plaid trousers, sneakers and a great leather bag.

Some luxury whispers. This one has a little more to say.


There’s something wonderfully excessive about all that curly lamb fur, which is exactly why we wouldn’t try to make it precious.
Throw it over a vintage R&B tee. Add plaid trousers and sneakers. Wear it to dinner over something barely there. The contrast is what makes it interesting.


IRO made Kald for Winter 2015, but ten-plus years later it sits in that sweet spot we love at LGV: too good to feel dated, too distinctive to feel basic, and ready for an entirely different life than the one it was originally sold for.
