A beautifully tailored Max Mara mainline blazer cut from a richly textured 70% virgin wool / 30% silk blend. Woven in a soft gray-and-black mélange, the fabric has a substantial, tactile finish while the silk adds refinement to the otherwise classic wool tailoring.

The silhouette is particularly good: structured shoulders lead into a sharply defined waist, creating a sculpted, feminine shape without sacrificing the clean lines Max Mara is known for. Finished with notch lapels, a three-button single-breasted front, rounded patch pockets and three-button cuffs.

Curator’s Note

This is Max Mara doing what Max Mara does best: taking a wardrobe standard and making the proportions and fabrication do all the talking. The wool-and-silk weave gives it texture, but that sharply drawn waist is what sold us.

And forget the matching office trousers. We like it with a graphic tee, relaxed joggers and a pointed heel—the kind of styling that lets beautiful tailoring live somewhere other than the boardroom.
