A beautifully constructed MICHAEL Michael Kors black and ivory textured dress in a substantial cotton-wool blend. The sleeveless bodice is cut long and close to the body, extending approximately 20 inches to a dropped waist before opening into a sculptural skirt.
The skirt is constructed from three approximately 6-inch curved panels, each cut to progressively introduce volume and create the dress’s distinctive bell-shaped silhouette. Rather than relying on gathers or skirt darts, the fullness comes directly from the curved panel construction—a subtle design detail that gives the dress its architectural shape.

Finished with a round neckline, center-back zipper with signature MK hardware, discreet belt loops at the dropped waist, and a full acetate lining. The original removable belt is not included.

This is why we look past the label.

Yes, it’s Michael Kors. Yes, it’s black-and-white tweed. But then somebody decided the skirt needed to take up some space.

The fitted bodice gives way to this beautifully strange, sculpted volume through the hip and hem—and suddenly a very sensible fabric isn't behaving sensibly at all.

We'd keep everything else quiet: black tights, a strong boot, maybe an oversized coat. Let the shape do the talking.
