An exceptional vintage Valentino Boutique full-length coat, made in Italy in a rich camel tone and finished with deep chocolate velvet detailing. The silhouette is long, architectural, and beautifully controlled—strong shoulders, elongated lapels, a double-breasted front, and a clean column-like fall through the body.
The contrast work is what makes the piece.
Chocolate velvet frames the collar and accents the pockets, creating depth against the warm camel body without interrupting the coat's restraint. Tonal buttons continue the quiet palette, while the full satin lining gives the interior the polished finish expected of vintage Italian designer outerwear.
THE LABEL
The coat retains its original woven Valentino Boutique label featuring the early V insignia, lowercase valentino typography and BOUTIQUE designation, accompanied by a separate:

THE MATERIAL
The exterior has the dense, exceptionally soft brushed hand associated with luxury camel-hair outerwear. However, the original fiber-content label has not been located, so LGV will not represent the coat as 100% camel hair without documentary confirmation.
Our research into Valentino label chronology supports this as an authentic vintage Valentino Boutique piece. Comparable Boutique labeling appears across multiple periods, so LGV is conservatively dating this coat to approximately the 1970s–1980s.
