Akris Punto Perforated Lamb Nappa Leather Blazer — Circa 2017–2019
A striking example of Akris Punto’s approach to modern tailoring, this black leather blazer transforms the traditional two-button jacket through an exceptionally refined pin-dot perforated lamb nappa leather.
Cut in a longline silhouette, the blazer features sharply defined notched lapels, a two-button front, subtle shaping through the waist, a welt chest pocket, and flap hip pockets. Look closely and the tailoring reveals one of its best details: concealed side-entry pockets tucked discreetly beneath the hip flaps, maintaining the jacket’s clean architectural line.
The perforation extends throughout the leather, creating a finely textured surface that softens the visual weight normally associated with a black leather jacket. Panel construction through the body and back further emphasizes the precision of the cut, while the gently flared hem gives the jacket a distinctly feminine finish.
Fully lined in cupro for a smooth drape over the body.

Curator’s Note:
Leather tailoring without the expected heaviness. The minute perforation gives this Akris Punto blazer an almost textile-like surface, while the hidden pockets and paneled construction reveal the level of thought behind the seemingly simple silhouette. A sophisticated intersection of classic suiting and modern leatherwork.
